Paper walls

Pain recedes

And then beats

Around the bush

Again and again

It flaunts

Under eyes

Or goodbyes

In fights

No rights

The torture

Bonds of culture

Who to resent

Her or Him

Forever present

Even when not

Tied by love

No rescuing  dove

The walls are thin

Shaken by the din

Threaten to give in

Hostile air burns

Tears eyes churn

None guilty

Yet victims of fate

The penalty

Weaker pays to date
